As far as i had read after "The 1996 Charkhi Dadri mid-air collision occurred on 12 November 1996" airplanes were not supposes to land and take off in the same directions.
i know those are in parallel runways but it is kinda risky, isnt it?.

That bubble on top of the 737 is the receiver for the in flight wifi system.
