For sure the most contrasting airplane situation in my spotting life. This bird is ex PH-BUT, which was once captured in St. Maarten by myself back in 2003, never in life I thought I´d see him again and neither in this conditions, resting in peace, probably forever in the Mojave dessert…

I believe the 747 in the back is the last 747SR ANA just retired months ago.

I was suprised as dutch visitor of this site , to see two big and beautiful planes of our own KLM standing in the American desert!!
I hope this birds can sit out safe our world wide crisis ,will be needed and fly again !!
If not , please let them fly for another company
and DON't scrap these planes please !
(by the way good picture ,and overvieuw of these plane's )
