The first true United B777-200 painted into the new corporate colours. The other aircraft so far painted have been ex-CO birds. Seen here on the way to the gate at LAX in the morning. Get used to it, and say goodbye (eventually) to the blue tulip [Nikon D3]

Just still doesn't look right, i see the tail and colors and think Continental, but the titles say United. Wish Delta would've done the same, keep the Northwest name and use delta colors or vice versa.

I love the blue tulip :-(

I like it, but I think they should make the titles bigger. The front half of the plane looks a little sparse. Does anyone else agree?

Excellent shot from a technical standpoint, great lighting, focus, etc - you just have to ask yourselves how they managed to come up with such a blah & rehashed livery - I mean, the nod to CO is ok, but it just seems so bland. Maybe it's the font on the lettering, it just needs some pizzaz, IMHO.

Nice shot, but it's depressing to see this livery. It seems to me that COA benefited more from the "merger of equals" than United did. They really need to come up with a new livery.

I don't agree with the previous statement. First of all the real inside information about people, positions, deals etc., who got what, we as public will never get. Secondly United gave its paint away, but Continental handed in its name. Think about it. Perhaps in ten years the whole fleet will be blue or black or rainbow... or carry tulips again... but it will be a United fleet! Continental will be off the face of the earth as soon as a new livery/logo comes out. In the meantime this does not look too bad does it?
