What's at the end of the rainbow? Trick question - this is no rainbow. The conditions required for this shot seemed to magically align; first the timing and atmospheric conditions had to be perfect to form a halo, also known as an icebow, secondly I had to be seated in a position where the sun appeared precisely behind the wing, to avoid nasty reflections usually produced on aircraft windows when shooting towards the sun. Taken en-route from Osaka to Singapore.
