The skies opened up but allowed this shot. PH-KCK as KL671 to Montreal taxiing away with PH-KCA being towed to the terminal area in preparation for her next flight. As the MD11 fleet is now being retired I was very thankful to get KLM's 1st and last MD11 in the same shot. With the added bonus of PH-BXA in the 90th Retro c/s. Charlie Kilo was delivered to KLM 25th April 1997

This is absolutely a grand shot -- and one that could probably never be reproduced anytime in the future. The rain just seems to be fitting, and really adds a lot to the shot.

Well definitely it would be nice if one could be preserved... At AMS is a bit unpractical I guess but the Aviodrome in Lelystad (LEY) could totally do with one! KCK is called Ingrid Bergman btw, with KCE 'Audrey Hepburn' my fave MD-11 for obvious reasons! :)
