The first Triple to sport the new "KLM Asia" titles. More 777's will be outfitted with "Asia" titles in the coming weeks/months. What is also extraordinary about this photo is that they actually touched the runway!! We get the KLM T7's regularly now after maintenance, because a low approach is part of the test flight. This is the first time however that they actually touch the runway, amazing!

Touch 'n go with open gear bay doors? Strange...

Please KLM, bring back the crown. Don't get fooled by dumb world politics and bring back that VOC attitude (the Dutch will understand).

Nevertheless, great picture and nice to have the first shot.

I find all the gear doors being open curious as well.

I thought that too! Why would that be?? Retracting or extending the gear already? Weird..

Great action photo. The open gear doors are because they have to test the gravity drop after maintenance.

The KLM Asia mod clearly consisted of painting over the 'crown' on KLM (as can be seen from the blue splodge) and sticking 'Asia' titles underneath!

Looks like they used the landing gear "freefall".

Right you are, I have not seen a touch and go with open gear bays before. Certainly not on a T7.

Quite unique sight of a touch and go with all gear doors open!

I was thinking the same ting. Hydraulic test, as well?

Nice shot of a landing gear configuration that is not seen during daily use. A free fall (emergency)landing gear test must have been performed before this touch and go. In such a case the doors stay open until the gear is being retracted again.

I really miss that crown from the original KLM logo, but it is a great shot.
