Great shot. I would love to see this exact same shot but with the aircraft cleanly configured. She looks beautiful here. She does look futuristic. A few more seconds and then engage the warp engines.

Excellent clarity. The plane just 'pops' against the gray sky.

Absolute beauty!! As a person from Monroe, LA, I surely hope Delta would order some one day...I know, wishful thinking....

Looks like the 747-4 lost weight, got skinner and got prettier!

A really nice shot! In my opinion the -8 is the best looking 747 of all times! Kinda comparable to the A340-600, enormously stretched, huge engines and the most beautiful aircraft of its family.

Who would have imagined, back in 1969, that the same basic fuselage design would still be with us 40 years later!

The 747! forever Queen of the Skies.
What a splendid "face lift" for the classic 747, this aircraft and the 747-8I are the most photogenic aircraft around. Hope to see more orders for these aircraft!

Its amazing after all these years of production, the 747 is still a very modern looking airplane. She is gorgeous and simply put, a far better looking plane than the A380. This photo clearly demonstrates her unique beauty.

A masterpiece of art. Sorry Airbus the A-380 will never come close to the 747 for majestic grace. To think the design is over 40 years old and still relevant in commercial avaition. New engines, new super efficent wings, and an even longer cabin. It just gets even better.

Amazing to see a new 747 forty years after the original entered service. Still one of the best looking airliners of all time. I hope they sell a lot of them. Excellent picture that really captures this bird's grace and elegance in the air.

I'm sticking with the 747 instead of the a380...no plane can match her beauty..

I understand the slight sorrow of some about the absence of winglets, but from other angles you can see that this beauty has stunning raked wingtips, which are more curved and blended than those on a 772LR. Personally I find raked wingtips better and smarter looking than winglets. So I find the 747-8 to be a near perfect aircraft.

Magnificent! I've seen pix of the first passenger version -- the upper-deck looks like it extends to the trailing-edge of the wingroot

An absolute beauty, almost as beautiful as the original one. Age hasn't got this baby yet, it never will. Majestic, timeless classic as she is, it will always remain in a class of her own...

Keep showing the "other guys" how an airplane should look like and behave in the hands of it's pilots, baby :D!!!

747FOREVER!!!
