Davao, Manila, Honolulu, Anchorage, Nome (Mostly Photos)

Mon Nov 12, 2018 12:07 am

This is the final installment of our September/October 2018 trip to the Philippines. After 3 days with our friends in Davao it was finally time to go home to Alaska. Our friends live in the Robinsons Highlands subdivision , which is only about 15 minute drive to the airport.

Customs and Immigration in Honolulu is always pleasant. It was less then 1 hour from leaving the plane to curb. Most of that was waiting for our luggage. Even with 2 airport employees pulling boxes off the carousel and setting to the side, it still shut off twice from being overloaded. Filipinos pack at lot!

The view from our hotel in Waikiki. We spent the next 2.5 days decompressing and resting.
