Alrosa Tupolev Tu-154, Moscow to Sochi

Wed Jan 03, 2018 3:36 pm

Flight: 6R533
Airline: Alrosa
Route: Moscow (Domodedovo) - Sochi (Adler)
Date: 09/12/2017 15:05-17:15

In Russia, only two Tu-154s are flying on regular flights, both in the Alrosa. Usually they are used on routes from Mirny (MJZ) and Polarny (PYJ) to Novosibirsk (OVB) and Moscow (DME). Rarely they are used on flights from DME to Sochi (AER) and Krasnodar (KRR).

On December 5, I found out that Alrosa will use Tu-154 on a flight to Sochi and immediately bought tickets. Moreover, the price was very pleasant - only 1895 RUR (~33 USD or 27 EUR).

It's possible to check-in online or via check-in counter.

Nice read & pictures, thanks for sharing, love the wallpaper in the toilet!

Lucky enough to fly the 154 with Belavia between WAW & MSQ a few years ago, quite memorable.

Nice TR! Always great to read from such exotic places and airlines...

Strange to see, that only ONE overwing-exit seems to be active, the other inoperative. Never seen before. Also I love the towel provided in the toilet,

Loved the cloth towel in the lavatory. Not the most hygienic idea...

Based on the safety information posted and the fact that the forward window exit is lacking an external outline, it appears that they have blocked that exit.

Great report and excellent engine noise quality in the video. The approach into Sochi was very spectacular and again great noise from the engines. I was on the Belavia 2016 TU-154 farewell but your trip was much better. Too many enthusiasts running around the cabin on the Belavia trip all believing that they were gifted photographers LOL. Your flight was much more civilized in the cabin and I would loved to have been there. Thank you so much for sharing.

Maybe we were on the same trip? In 2016 Belavia made several flights. I was on Minsk-Gomel-Minsk flights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwJilz-1Zy0
