Cabin Crew

Cabin service was started soon after an hour or so into flight. I got served first as I had ordered a HMNL.
I had made the right decision to have meal at the airport.

Crew was mostly East European. Reckon competitors won't have to worry with such crew on ME3. Skipped passengers during drinks service.

Dinner Packing

Dinner

Nice TR...

It seems the gap in-between is getting bigger and bigger every time, on one hand the luxurious First Class (best in world), the very mediocre BusinessClass (now even without chauffeur service) and the very basic EconomyClass. Oman Air will be Boutique, QATAR will be the Best of all, EMIRATES will offer constant & reliable, but monotonic service - but what about ETIHAD!?

Thanks for your review. the catering does not look great. Good idea to take BK. The gap between the premium cabins and Y is striking.

Food looks awful. Thanks for the warning. Me thinks I will avoid. They were in the news a few days ago regarding one of their flights from sydney to Abu Dhabi.

I didn't like the inflight service on both the inbound and outbound flight from Australia. Mumbai flight was still ok as the flight duration was short, I took the standard choice : fish which was ok. My neighbour who was flying in from US also reported the same about food.

I had heard of poor customer service and food service from others and after the Sydney flight experience. I was prepared. See below.

I looking for falafeel roll, couldn't find hence had to settle for the BK.

Thanks for your comment. Yeah the food doesnt seem to be a strong point for Etihad.
