Hi All,
Earlier this month, I had a chance to fly with Finnair in business class from Helsinki to Bangkok. As the A350 flight was quite nice and enjoyable, I thought I would share it here with you as well.

A selection of eight pictures to tell you the overall story follows.
1. The New Finnair’s Flagship
Currently, Finnair operates 8 A350s. My flight was operated by OH-LWH - the latest one in the fleet. The aircraft was delivered on April 4, 2017 - one month before my flight on May 5, 2017.
2. Economy Comfort and Economy Class
Each of Finnair’s A350s is equipped with 251 economy class seats of which 43 are in the forward “Economy Comfort” section featuring extra 4 inches of seat pitch compared to regular economy.
3. Business Class
The aircraft’s business class features 46 reverse herringbone seats split into two cabins - first with 8 rows and the second one with 4 rows. I was seated in 12L - a right-hand-side window seat in the very last row.
4. Helsinki Vantaa Airport
After taking off from runway 22R, we were offered a great view of Helsinki’s airport and its surroundings.
5. The Laptop Incident
On take-off, my laptop slid under my seat. With the help of the excellent crew, and a fellow passenger, we got it out a couple of hours into the flight. Thanks!
6. Dinner Service
Shortly after take-off, a dinner was served. I had a salmon starter and a poached pike-perch main followed by an ice cream.
7. IFE System
The in-flight entertainment system was quite simple, but the touchscreen was very responsive. Plus, there was a pretty nice flight overview title screen as shown below.
8. Breakfast Service
Before landing, a breakfast was served. The order was taken after the dinner service in the form of a breakfast card. Like the dinner, the breakfast was great - and there was more than plenty of food.
