OP able to update their own Trip Reports?

Fri Mar 17, 2017 8:15 pm

A-netters: Is there a way for the OP to update their trip reports? I was able to post one update to my Tarom report yesterday after I posted but I can't seem to repeat the process.

Thank You

Moe

There is only a limited window in which to edit a post. A post beginning a Trip Report thread is no different from any other, so after a set period of time, any additions must be made in a separate post in the same thread.

I really don't like this, particularly in the Trip Reports forum. I think the edit window for the OP should be two hours e.g.

One think I don't like about this site is that you don't 'own' or have control over your own content (contributions). For someone like me who likes to make use of edit, it can be frustrating.

Increasingly, this site needs to stay relevant. Unlike when this site started up, A.net has to compete with a lot of other social media platforms out there, that are more modern and versatile, and user-friendly and integrate. I don't really how the membership and readership is doing but if it is on a downward spiral, then I think it is the competition and the relevance that are a part of it.
