Post Screening: Overexposed

Tue Nov 17, 2015 9:35 pm

I received this with a rejection of overexposed. Though I don't disagree with the rejection, I am just wondering where to spot the issue and how to fix it. (if I can)

Hi,

I am no expert,
There is a stripe down the nose, the front edge of the tail, the engine and the lighter red on the tail all show as blown out please see this image

This is from pressing the alt key in levels and moving the white point right to the right.
I don't know how you would go about fixing it unless its a raw image.

While possibly an overly picky rejection, it is also relatively easy to fix. You can always appeal, but there are some minor areas that are overexposed which are all areas in red.

It's bright, but seems OK.

But I can't grasp the site's overexposed guidelines, so....
