Is this an acceptable crop/motive for a nose shot?

I wouldn't think this shot could make it.. And the size seems weird.

It's not so much the crop on the aircraft, but it's all the other distracting stuff going on in the frame. It's also soft and lacks "punch".

Soft, poor crop. Won't make it I'm afraid.

Yeah PB is horrible with uploading examples, as I'm finding out. This was saved at 1600, but on there it gets changed to 800ish. And with that the quality goes to sh*t. I'm not about to pay them for more size options...time to look somewhere else. Open for suggestions on that front.

Testing Flickr:

As far as the 'clutter' it seems shots at the National Museum of Naval Aviation can be rather notorious. They really pack the a/c into that building. I was trying for something other than the normal pics taken on this display.

Here's another shot I took, same jet, head on:

With both shots I see how quickly the focus goes out with distance. In the second shot the nose is decent, but by the wings it's going.

I don't think it's the link issue, it's the upload issue. Either way it looks like Flickr is more friendly for me.
