Pre-screening: Kann123air AA MD80

Wed Jan 30, 2019 9:16 pm

Hi everyone!

It's been a while since I've posted and I hope everyone's doing well. I have been quite busy with school recently, and with the MCAT coming up in April, I've barely had the time to sit down and edit my shots. I went out to XNA last Friday though, and I got a few that I felt deserved editing.

I gave a crack at this shot and quickly realized my skills were vastly inept for such unique lighting situations. I then sent it to my buddy Bernie Proctor (Aussiepomm), and he gave me this product. What do y'all think? I would love to get it up on here.

Thanks!

It's not super bad and I guess you can give it a shot. I don't see something obvious to complain about anyway :)

Hmmm...even though it is a shot take in lower light, it looks underexposed and blue to me. I'd probably decline it if it came up in my screening queue.

I'd agree that some additional brightness wouldn't go amiss but, considering the livery and obvious time of day, the colour looks pretty good to me.

I've seen darker images in similar light on the front page.

Wouldn't this be a motive rejection for landing gear?
For example it's not "creative" like this one...

We have similar images in the DB--I think it's rather an interesting perspective!
