Appeal Screening cancels rejetion reason but rejects for other new reasons....

Thu Oct 11, 2018 11:11 pm

Hi,
first rejected for uncentered only.

After appeal I got this:
Here's why your photo was rejected:

- Motive
- Oversharpened
- Personal Message

The Screener left a comment regarding this photo:
"Rejection reason revised, centering acceptable but pole obstructing main gear and bit too oversharpened"

I really would appreciate if the appeal screener only check the first given rejection reasons and don't look for other issues again unless there are very obvious issues like wrong data.
Especially when the reason for the first rejection is cancelled....

Best greetings

Rainer

Hi Rainier, imo the titles, tail, cockpit windows are a bit OS. The pole is a bit annoying, but that's 50/50 on rejection or not. As for centering, was it originally rejected for high or low?

I agree with what Preston said above. Although the rejections on the appeal should've been given on the initial rejection. I'm baffled how that was missed on the first screen.

Centring looks acceptable to me, although my personal preference would be to have it a touch lower (and I'm guessing the screener thought likewise). As for the pole, as far as I know, that will always be an instant rejection here, especially since it was clearly avoidable. The more disturbing issue is indeed how it was missed in initial screening (it's the first thing I saw when I opened the image), but that's one for another debate.....
