- Distance Ok I thought it was beautiful in the context of the place, maybe here the photo is most important on the plane
- Soft ? need more sharpening?

Soft does indeed mean it needs more sharpening.
However, the very wide crop is the biggest issue and I'm not sure if cropping it correctly will leave you with enough quality. The place is indeed very nice, but the sky is very empty (just blue sky, not epic cloud formations for example). So if the surroundings aren't THAT interesting I'd suggest to make it all about the aircraft.
Sidenote, the photo also seems a bit underexposed to me (needs more brightness).
