712: HH, UE, motive (reflections), quality
722: HH, UE, quality
739: is very poorly lit and will not be salvagable.
830: HH, OS, noise, quality
883: HH, OS, noise, quality
825: might be passable

Honestly though, I would leave all photos from this session be. Start out by shooting on sunny days and not in the middle of the day (in summer anyway). Try mornings/afternoons, from a place where the sun is behind you. Use F8, ISO100 and a shutter speed of >400-500.

Unfortunately those are all either underexposed, oversharpened, noisy, heat hazed or just poor quality. None of them seem to be really fixable, sorry.

Hi everyone; I was trying to rework on a BA B744 photo that was rejected back in 2016 for blurry, along with other rejections; I have resized this photo to 1024 pixels wide to mask the blurriness; not sure if that would do any good:

Let me know what you guys think; if it's still blurry, then I will bin this one from the queue.

The nose and most of the windowline look blurry to me even at that size. I'd unfortunately let that one go for good.

I have reworked on photos from 2016, as well as doing one airport overview of KNFW:

US Navy F/A-18 (Angle 1): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... 7ba8961c4c
US Navy F/A-18 (Angle 2): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... b184c6f605
US Navy F/A-18 (Angle 3): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... 986dbd4511
US Navy F/A-18 (Angle 4): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... bc50646300
US Navy F/A-18 (Angle 5): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... 218bd99f7b
Overview of NFW: https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... f730f73b68
N564HV (priority): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... 4f09c691b6
N950JT: https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... fb340a43a4

For the F/A-18 photos, I'm looking for which two of the five angles (one on each different side) would have better enough quality to be upload-worthy to the a.net database.

Let me know what you guys think!

B6 321 looks noisy, possibly compressed, OS in spots, maybe heat hazed/blurry and OS to compensate. Overall, the quality isn't there. Of the Super Hornets, #4 is probably the best quality. It has some slight heat haze on the intakes and horiz stab. I don't think the gear blockage is an issue but I am not sure. Could do with being just slightly less bright and more contrast. I suck at judging overviews, but I'd say it could do with a little more contrast and is marginal on overall quality.

564HV is quite blurry.
950JT is blurry and oversharpened to compensate.

I'm sorry to say this, but none of those 5 Hornet photos are good enough quality. #4 is the best of the series, but still very marginal and flat. Plus sloppy framing with the nosewheel behind the taxi light.

Hi everyone! I have four more uploads to the database that are currently screening:

N995AT*: https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... e52e12f72c
N965AT*: https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... f2831eacda
N531FX (taxiing): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... 297a7de4ed
N531FX (parked): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... e591158aa8

Let me know what you guys think of these photos! Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
*I have these photos for priority upload due to the fact that they don't regularly fly to COU, as they were CFB charters for the Georgia Bulldogs college football team, but was de-prioritized for whatever reason. Any feedback in regards to this issue is greatly appreciated.

N995AT: Marginal quality. Lighting is also poor.
N965AT: Poor lighting as well. Needs CW rotation.
N531FX #1: OS, hazed
N531FX #2: Needs some CCW rotation.

Re priority: They were deprioritized because what you described doesn't qualify for priority IINM. Priority is mainly for inaugural flights into a specific airport, first flight of an aircraft, new livery or registration to DB, etc. There is a section in the upload guide that gives the entire rundown.

Flexjet is marginal on quality, and OS in spots (cheatlines). Overall quality isn't really there. DL 712 could benefit from a shadow boost, quality is also quite marginal.

Besides the earlier mentioned pionts, ref the parked N531FX, the man behind the wing is very distracting. Would have been better to wait until he walked out of the picture.

N965AT : The sunlit condition is quiet poor and marginal. Visible heat haze along the top side of the aircraft especially above the Reg part. Halo-ish around the tail. Underexposed to me. Partly soft too (like nose section). Whole quality isn't great. Hard to make it i think. Sorry :(

Cheers,
Harry

965AT above looks underexposed probably due to the not-so-great lighting conditions. There's also haloing around the tail fin. Regarding quality, it's better than the prior image but still marginal IMO.

All of these are (well) below standard. Most of them are blurry/heathazed/compressed, taken through windows perhaps?
N420WN has a blue cast.
N7817J Winglet: an impressive line-up but the winglet is kind of photobombing the UPS MD-11.
Not sure about the KSTL overview.

All were taken through a cabin window when my flight was affected by a 50min traffic delay at EWR. Also, about less than two months earlier, I had such photos taken from inside the aircraft (through the window) at DFW under the same weather conditions and with the same camera lens; somehow, three photos got accepted as ISO values were between 200-400, and that my aircraft that I was flying in at the time was taxiing at a low speed, compared to my recent flight that was at a standstill during the delay.

Window shots from the cabin are really difficult to get right most of the time. It's much harder to get the lens to focus on everything through the window than just being outside since it's double layered. Plus the window also has to be clean and/or in great shape physically. The issue is most prominent on the AC and UA E175s linked above (many parts of the aircraft are out of focus).

Terminal windows are also tricky to deal with. Sometimes they are really thick and make the lens difficult to focus. Plus if the tint is strong enough, it's impossible to get rid of the color cast. Seems evident with a few of the WN B73Gs above.

I guess that depends on which aircraft you’re on; some (if not all) of the photos shot from inside the aircraft that were accepted were from the cabins of E-175s, 757, and MD-80; so far I have some difficulties getting photos from inside the 737s and probably CRJs accepted, as the design of the cabin windows would make it difficult to master editing these photos to be accepted.

As for these terminal shots, all of these shots were taken from STL’s Terminal 2, in which the windows are angled and not upright (as is from Terminal 1), based on the design of the termina building, in which I found plane spotting from that terminal difficult, if not impossible to do so.

Thanks Evan! I have reworked on N562WN and reuploaded it in the queue; will take some of the photos down that are blurry but leave the rest of the photos so that other screeners can also give additional opinions of these photos.

Most all of of these will be borderline on overall quality. In addition to what Evan said...
N8520Q: marginal quality, noisy, greenish color
N202HA #2: marginal overall quality, blurryish, greenish
N478WN #2: almost looks like too much NR but overall quality will not make it
N835UA: strange blotchy looking areas, maybe dirt from window, taken through airplane window?
N38473: really poor light, marginal quality
N562WN: noisy, nose is blurryish

Thanks Preston! Most likely binning N562WN, N478WN #2 and some others; N835UA was taken through airplane window; I'll have the screeners make a final decision on these photos.

I have reworked on some of these photos:
N769UA (attempted to reduce noise further on sky and sharpened less on the outer edge of wing and United titles: https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... aa547c1958
N352UP (attempted to mask blurriness by downsizing it to 1024 wide): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... ea8ac87f0b
N920WN (same as N352UP): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... cce1ef2899
N8520Q (color is corrected; sharpened less in leading edges of wing/Southwest titles; reduced noise further): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... f8df690cac
N38473 (attempted to increase exposure; reduced size to 1024 to mask blurriness): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... 2c585feb8b
N478WN #1 (attempted to reduce noisy sky further; photo is saved at minimal compression): https://imgproc.airliners.net/photos/ai ... d44a5485b7

I also have links to the recently added N29906 and N7727A in the above previous post; let me know what you guys think!

I'm leaving the other screeners the links to give their input to these photos below:

Here's one more attempt of N478WN #2 (resized to 1024 to mask blurriness; sharpened a bit more; reduced noise less):

KSTL Overview update: Rejected for low contrast; will easily fix it
