Hi everyone! I have recently have a photo of a wing view of an AA CRJ-900 over NM that was rejected for noise, CW rotation, and something new to me that I haven't heard of before: banding. I was wondering what a banding rejection is, and if this photo could be fixed upon.

Banding describes and effect typically caused by the thick airplane windows that creates some bended lines in the sky. It is hard to avoid.
In your case (might be due to my laptop though) it doesn't seem that noticeable, but further Noise Reduction will increase the banding effect.
What would worry me most is that the shot seems heavily oversharpened to me (very jagged all over) and the quality doesn't seem great to be honest.

Plus the wing is mostly in the shade (dark) and the outside view isn't too interesting.

Thanks guys! Guess it's time for me to throw this in the towel, as trying to reduce noise would only make the banding effect even worse.
