They all look not bad to me except for Alitalia which has slight halo.

OK. I do not know how to deal with Halo.

 As i know that there are some factors which will cause halo issue.
1. For Nikon Camera, D-Lightning function will casue halo easily. Thus, if you are Nikon user, turning this function off would be better i think.
2. For editing process, using Too Much hightlight / shadow will cause halo.
3. Applying HDR Filter / function will cause halo.
4. Using too much noise reduction might cause. Not quiet sure about it.

Cheers,
Harry

Images 1 and 4 will need some clockwise rotation, otherwise they likely get rejected for 'level'. I understand that some of the verticals do appear to indicate level but an image must 'feel' level too, and they do not.

Agree with JakTrax opinions that both of 1 and 4 need CW Rotation since the BG buildings look unlevel.

1. I have Canon.
2. After warning from the screen reader I try to touch as little as possible hightlight / shadow
3. HDR Filter does not use in principle. I do not even know how to turn it on. I do not need it.
4. The noise seems to be all right.

The fact is that the buildings stand at an angle to the strip and to the aircraft, respectively. Pay attention to the vertical angles of these buildings. They are vertical.

I would listen to that feedback, the shot with the lines just proves that the Rossiya feels unlevel indeed and will likely get rejected for that. I would give it something like 0,5 / 0,6 degrees clockwise -Rotation.

On the CRJ it is less obvious, but if it was mine I'd give it some slight CW-rotation, too.

JKPhotos, Thank you for taking part in the conversation.
The fact of the matter is that I do not understand what to do.
A turn, Ок. But! If I do this, the vertical lines will no longer be vertical.

Yes! And the most important thing. The position of the aircraft in the air during landing does not become natural.

The verticals would still look vertical if you applied 0.2 degrees CW rotation. 'Level' at A.net is based on both what looks level and what 'feels' level. What to do is simple: apply a touch of CW rotation, or leave them as they are and risk 'level' rejections. I can't say any more succinctly than that.

Thank you very much, Friends!
Indeed, you are right - so much better and more beautiful.
Usually I did not have any problems with the level of the hump, but here ....

By the way, tell me please. UVT is Colorful / special Paint?

Harry, please tell me, can there be such an effect from using a polarization filter?

Yes, now both look fine considering level. Nice shots by the way!

And as long as it is a special livery it will fall under the colorful / special category.
Don't get fooled by the world colorful, it is completely misleading, as there can be quite some specials that aren't really colorful. So just think of it as a special livery category.

Hello!

SCREENER DECISION:
Rejected
High in Frame

I placed the plane in the center of the frame. If I lowered it lower, I received a refusal due to "the plane is not in the center of the frame."
How to be in my situation when the format is 16: 9?

Hi,
It does look bit of HIF for me as well but not so serious. Since IL76 has higher tail than most planes, it would be better to place it a bit lower IMO.

Harry

HIF for me as well. Try to place it a cm (as seen on a screen) lower or so.

HarryLi, spompert, airkas1, thank you guys for the advice! But now I got a ban for a week. Did not quite understand why. The screener wrote - "As mentioned before, please do not upload images, full of halos and lacking any shadows. Take it a week."
I do not understand anything. All photos are removed from the waiting list for screening.
I get up at 5 am, I'm going to the airfield, wade through the bushes to get a plane without shadows, and they ask me for a shadow. I do not understand anything. If I could attach a RAW file, I would do that.
I rest for a week. : ((((

Also, I can not understand where my IL-76 was missing.
I received a reject for this aircraft, filed an appeal, now I do not see him either in the rejected photos or in the accepted ones. Where could he go? All this is strange.

Hi, did you use the shadow/highlight tool much? It looks like you edited the photos that much that they give an unnatural impression. Halos can form and I saw some already around the tails of the planes in your photos. Or are the original files already without shadows, because of reflections or a bright underground?

Actually, I'm pretty sure the missing shadows are caused by the fact that the aircraft is right over the touchdown zone markings. I've seen similar in my photos as well. I'll check with my colleagues.

EDIT: spoke to the colleague in question and it's more for the overediting of the images. While I still think the white TDZ markings play a role in the lack of shadows, the images in general look a bit overedited/heavy editing. Do you use NiK software or similar? Do you use the Shadow/Highlight tool and if yes, to what extent?

Exactly. The aircraft is well illuminated from the runway. Please note the strip has a light gray cover. Sometimes the white markings on the runway give the backlight below.
If necessary, I can send a couple of RAV files.
Of course, I touch the shadow settings, like everyone else. Maybe I do not really go out. I do not claim to be ideal. But the fact remains.
Thank you guys! ;-)

No problems. I'll do it a little later today. This is how the sun shines in the morning in the place where I was shooting. This is the runway 10 R.

Rossiya A319 : Would be better under smaller size IMO.
VQ-BTW : Quiet underexposed/dark probably due to the poor light angle in this case.
VP-BRN : The same as VQBTW and also will be better with smaller size.
VP-BQG : Soft or even blurry toward the nose AND title part at this size.
RA-42445 : Looks fine IMO except for a little bit magenta cast from my screen.
RA-05728 : Marginal light condition. Could be Underexposed i think.
EW-250PA :Soft at this size. Would be better under smaller size IMO.
4 Seasons : Not bad for me but i would tend to use smaller size because the title AND nose seem to be tad blurry-ish / softish in this case.

Regards,
Harry

OK. I will wait for the decision of the screener. Photos have been standing in line for quite a while.
Most likely for all my photos the correct solution would be to reduce the size. As the main cause of poor quality.
I will continue to work on. Thank you very much!
