Pre-Screening: kann123air DL 747 Cabin Shots

Wed Apr 18, 2018 9:07 pm

Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I've posted here. I hope you're all doing well. I've been quite busy recently living the pre-med life in college, balancing school, volunteering, research, social life, etc. I try to go out and shoot as much as I can, but I find it increasingly difficult to find time to do so, as you might imagine.

Back in December, I connected through DFW while on my way to Australia and New Zealand. Parked at Terminal E was N670US, a Delta 747-451, operating as a charter for the Seahawks. She had just operated her last revenue flight, ICN-DTW, a few days earlier. A friendly DL agent at Terminal E let my buddy and I on board, and we had the time of our lives exploring the aircraft and taking way too many pictures.

Linked below are two of my shots. I've never tried to upload a cabin shot to this site, so I thought I'd get your input on them. I figure that they're a bit dark, but I'm afraid of increasing the brightness to a point where the windows seem too overexposed.

Amrit,

Both images are blurry: depth of field. In #1, the foreground is out of focus. In #2, the middle and rear of the cabin are out of focus.

Hey Jehan,

Thanks for the input. I imagine they're beyond salvageable then?

Unfortunately I agree with Jehan. Sorry to say, but I'd let them go.
