Pre-screen -DARA

Tue Feb 06, 2018 7:42 pm

Hi guys,

I don't have any experience uploading and editing these kind of sky shots. I want to know if this is going to be decent enough for A.net or not. I'd be grateful if you can guide me with editing it.

Hello Dara, very nice! It`s reasonable sharp I would say. I don`t have much experience with getting shots like this accepted (although I have a few of them) but I would say it`s a bit flat and could use some more contrast. And it looks like the engines and wings are a bit soft/blurry? The contrails are not really white but have some strange color and can be brighter. There is not much noise so that`s very positive. I am interested in the camera and lens combination. Good luck with editing, I have the feeling it can be edited to A-net acceptance with some effort. Regards

That's pretty nice! Perhaps a tiny amount of extra sharpening, but not much more needed than that!

Thanks for your reply, I used a Canon 80D with the Canon EF 70-300L lens.

Thanks Kas, added a bit of sharpness is it any better or is it too much?

D-AALJ: check the sky for noise, but otherwise fine.
G-STBE: some blur and needs deeper blacks, otherwise alright.
