Thanks

OS, Vignetting, Noise are all understandable.

I can't understand the quality issue.

Exactly. In general, the quality is insufficient. I use 'quality' to indicate that I don't think the image is salvagable.

The wing seems blurry/out of focus. Sharpening to compensate blur will end up looking like your edit.

Green cast, oversharpened and also kinda poor quality. Plus window reflections in the top right corner and not that much of an interesting view, sorry.

The light behind the building has glare which is not accepted i think. Besides, sky part was grainy i think.

The DC-3 needs a closer crop. Second photo is high in frame. The Eagle needs some CCW and the flare is kinda killing the shot. All 3 aren't great, so not sure what the screening results will be.

Flares are kinda killing in both. First one (Sabre?) has a strong yellow/green cast, but centering is OK.

It needs a bit tighter crop on the right and it's a bit high in frame.

I think it has little chance to make it due to its very poor sunlight angle and the poor overall quality. It is obvious to observe halo surrond the a.c and vignettings at corners. Also as Tim mentioned above that it's very blurry at some parts. Sorry.

Regards,
Harry

1: Extremely OS, sun glare/motive, crop to loose, a touch OE.

2: Glare/dots at the nose not great, also OS.

Better, but still blurry around the back of the A/C, crop could be a bit tighter, ad the sun glare is also still at the back of the A/C.

Some glare is allowed, isn't it? Found one such example in the latest upload.

Technically allowed yes, but it will usually draw a rejection as its not super pleasing to look at. It depends on the screener and the rarity of a photo.

Latest Edit: Overall the crop is better but still blurry for me.

Looks oversharpened. Jaggies visible in titles, landing gear, bottom of fuselage. Overall, a "crisp" feel to it.

Surely that sunflash rear fuselage isn't an issue?! I can understand when it's at the forward fuselage over the titles (as in that FX 757 image) but sometimes you just can't avoid it if you want a side-on(ish) shot. In that QR shot it's in no way distracting.

Aside from the sharpening issues it would benefit from a slight contrast increase.

The glare should not be an issue. I'd reject for glare if it obscures main titles, tail insignia. cockpit window, or the window line (typically it would be the entire window line). These would be considered major distractions to the image. In my view, the glare on the rear of the fuselage of this image does not rise to the level of a major distraction or detraction. Therefore, acceptable for me.

Probably a bit too far the other way now. Didn't need much of a brightness reduction — mainly needed a contrast injection.

Sorry but I see the following issues with QR Cargo A7-BFN:

Overexposed
Low contrast
Blurry
Magenta color cast
Dirty (unidentifiable item above the front of the fuselage).
Poor crop (wing tip cropped on left side): Either show entre wing, or crop close to engine on right side and the tail on the left side.

Thanks for the detailed response. This will help me with editing any other frames from the same sequence.
Blurry at the tail ?
colour cast is due to the browser I think.
Dirty (unidentifiable item above the front of the fuselage).... That is a bird just like in the following photo. Also, I hadn't removed any dust spots.
My major issue is how should I crop it to be an acceptable crop.
This wasn't meant for upload to A.net.
