Getting Photos Accepted
I have tried to no avail to get my photos accepted on this site. Does anyone have any suggestions to avoid - Distance- Heat Haze- Left in frame-Quality- Soft? These have been given to me as reasons for several photo rejections. (All my photos seem to be rejected for just about the same reasons)

Distance <=> get closer to your subject/crop tighter
Heat Haze <=> Don't shoot on hot days/moments of the day when heat haze appears the most. In summer, you'll want to avoid pretty much the time between late morning and late afternoon. Despite popular belief, heat haze also appears in winter time. The less the temperature difference between the air and asphalt, the less heat haze there will be (is my understanding?). Heat haze are those heat waves you see on warm surfaces. In photos, heat haze will usually show in the shape of deformed lines, exceptional softness.
Left in Frame <=> Put more or less equal distance between the left and right edges of the frame vs. the subject.
Quality <=> This is a general message that the image has insufficient quality for A.net. Sometimes flaws can be 'fixed' by using a smaller size, other times they can't. Personally, I only use quality when I think the photo will not get accepted at all due to a poor original file.
Soft <=> The image needs more (selective) sharpening. I suggest to sharpen in layers to keep lots of control regarding this.

Even though I'm not on my editing/screening PC, I can still see the flaws quite clearly. For starters, I would suggest to keep your submissions to 1200px wide at max and take it from there. Once you produce good quality photos at the size, you can try to step up to a higher file size.
