Pre/Post Screening - Mitch

Thu Aug 10, 2017 8:29 am

Hi all,

Been a while since I've uploaded to the site, so I'd like to get some feedback on these two. I have upgraded to one of the new MacBook Pro's so I'm unsure how much sharpening is needed on this display.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi Mitch,

The 717 needs a bit closer crop, but looks OK other than that. The 787 needs CW rotation and is a bit sharp.

So I've re-edited the 717 - How does it look?

Just out of curiosity what is the vertical or horizontal hint you used for the 787 in determining level from that angle?

It just looks off-level, but a decent indicator would be the electricity(?) cabinet in the top left corner.

Hi guys, the 717 was rejected for blurry and soft.

Worth an appeal?

The uploaded version looks a bit different and softer than the one on Flickr (with the tail being slightly blurry). Personally within my limits, but not sure of others.

Thanks mate. I ended up not appealing it.
