Post-Screening: Soft/Low contrast

Hi all,

I recently got this photo rejected for soft and low contrast:

Is it really soft? I'm afraid of sharpening the fuselage as I am already seeing jaggies appear there. And the landing gear seems black enough to me.

Another question, it is impossible to "hot" a rejected "hot" photo a second time right?

I would appreciate any help.

Hi Yang,

can't comment on sharpness as I am on my work Monitor.

But contrast looks allright to me, as you say wheels are black and weather conditions won't produce a heavy contrast that should be taken into account IMO.

You can upload a "prio" photo (not a fan of the hot expression) another time as prio, of course. Once I had to do the procedure three times due to a shot that was tricky to Level and it stayed "prio" all the way. As long as there aren't other shots with that livery or sticker in your case this won't be an issue.

The photo looks passable to me. Julien is correct regarding prio photos.

Thanks Julien and Kas! Re-uploaded the photo with very minimal adjustments and within 5 minutes, it was accepted!

I see. The reason why I asked was that I have had cases in the past where I re-uploaded a rejected "prio" photo only to have it "de-prio'ed" even though no photos of that aircraft in question were uploaded, hence I wanted to be sure for this one.
