Post-Screening: Blurry

Wed Jun 07, 2017 3:05 pm

Hi all,

It's been quite a frustrating few days, having run into several blurry rejections:

Rejected for blurry and quality:

Rejected for blurry, oversharpened and quality:

Rejected for blurry, oversharpened, quality and underexposed:

Rejected for blurry, motive, soft and noise (motive was apparently for "light trails in front of aircraft"):

I would appreciate any opinions on these shots as I am trying out for my 500th with a panning shot.

Cheers,
Yang

Hello, Qize
Bangkok A319 : Some parts of the aircraft seem to be blurry. Such as titles and the nose seem to be blurry i think.
Cathay Pacific 77W : the nose and tail appear slight blurry it's ok for me i think. And i think part of the window line appear slight jaggy.
Malindo : Front gear seem to be blurry other parts seem to be ok for me.
Jet Airways : the line above retral windows appear some jaggy i think.
Cathay Pacific 77W : Gear and Reg number are blurry i think.windows and tail seem to be a little bit of soft ... but ok for me .
The last one (A350) : I think is fine... screener might consider the front gear appear blurry i guess.

Hey Yang,

I voted on those as well and in my opinion they are slightly blurred and I feel that you can do (and have done) better. Hence why I voted against them, sorry. Regarding the 'light trails', I think that is about lensflare.

Thank you Harry and Kas for your help. I decided to try some other panning shots I had, and I just hit my 500th!

Guess the above shots will stay in my personal collection.

Cheers,
Yang

And that spot in Singapore is anything but easy. Planes are really far away and you shoot through thick glass. Congrats!
