Warried about personal message...

Hi guy,
both this images was rej for overshapening, after appeal rej motivation grew up and head say that is possible that my lens have a problem ... I'm quite warried .. what kind of problem could have my EF 100-400 IS II???

there great photos!! maybe try softening them in Adobe Photoshop

I think they are great. I do think they are a bit contrasty and sharpy, so some very minor adjustment might be beneficial.

The personal messages were:
TAP: "either heat haze or a lens malfunction"
LOT: "maybe a lens problem"

Which brings things into a bit different context in my opinion. I don't think it's your lens, but more likely the conditions that make the photos a bit marginal quality.
