People behind planes at Aero Friedrichshafen fair - Rejection?

Fri Apr 14, 2017 7:34 am

I was at Aero Friedrichshafen fair last weekend, and in some photos there are visible and possibly identifiable people behind the photographed planes. I'm not referring to models posing in front of the planes (I already know that kind of photos are not allowed here), I'm referring to fairground visitors who happened to be near the photographed planes in the moment I took the photo. Will these photos be rejected?

Unfortunately I could visit the fair only on saturday, the busiest day, and it was difficult enough to take photos without people in front of the planes, let alone behind them...

As long as people are not posing with the aircraft or they are not obstructing a major aspect of the aircraft (i.e. engine, landing gear), or they are (in general) not a major distraction to the composition, it should be OK. Do you have examples to share?

Sorry for the late reply, here are some examples. I'm not uploading them as a sort of pre-screening, it is just to know whether the presence of people is acceptable or not.

Hi , according to your examples i think it is acceptable because people here are not obstructing major aspects of the aircraft they just stand beside the aircraft.
Cheers,

All seem acceptable for the presence of people except for #4 where the skid is obstructed by a leg: it may get a motive rejection depending on if it is a rare registration in the database. Standards are higher for common aircraft registrations and airframes.
