Why was this image accepted, please?

Sun Mar 12, 2017 3:34 pm

Hi all,

With all due respect to the photographer (congrats to him / her)....but why was this picture accepted, please?

2 people, obviously not on duty; block the wing.
I tried to upload similar pics with people blocking a lot less...with an outright Motive rejection as a result.
The pic in question:

It's an image from 2004, that's 13 years ago. Different owner, different site, different rules/standards. Incomparable to today in every way.
But in stead of posting something like this in public, we prefer that you E-mail the headscreeners if you have a problem with an accepted photo.

Okay.
This picture appeared on my timeline today.
I failed to notice the date.

Thanks and sorry!

Not any of my business of course, but isn't going direct to the heads a bit like going behind the photographer's back? It someone had an issue with a photo of mine, I'd much rather it be brought into the public domain; if you upload photos here, you must be prepared to accept negative feedback, as well as positive. Have we really become a world in which someone picking fault with a photo causes heartache?

Just my tuppence.....

In the past, people have responded that it's inappropriate to call people out in public like that. That's why I posted that. Personally, I wouldn't mind either, but from a crew role perspective it's different.
