Press the ALT key when you move the Levels sliders and you'll see where there is overexposure/overcontrast it's really handy and I use it all the time.

Sounds like a good way. I will have a try later. Thanks.

You mean recognize contrast and exposure from level ? Could u tell me detail ? I am not familiar with it. Thanks.

Yes, the levels tool is basically an adjustable histogram.
When you press and hold the ALT key while moving the sliders you'll be able to see when you start clipping (overexpose/overcontrast) the image. It's a handy tool!
airkas1 wrote:A bit bright, but otherwise ok. Maybe tone down the hightlight a litte.

Thanks DM ! It is indeed a good way i have tried it. I will practice more and see the result . Very appreciate.

China Eastern -700 looks fine
The EY looks hazed unfortunately (and a bit bright).

The other 2 links refer to your photographers Corner and can't be viewed.

Regarding the low contrast part, the wheels are dark enough, but I have gotten this rejection a few times when the background is slightly hazy or if the lighting is flat, which seems to be the case here.
len90 wrote:Harry, that image is not really low in frame. Contrast is fine as judged by the tires. Those are nicely black.

I was on the skydeck at HKG that exactly day (judging by the Global Africa Cargo, which is very rare at HKG and a nice catch, and other regs you photographed). Was talking with one local guy for maybe one hour, and there was another 2 groups of young spotters, were you with them or alone?

Aero 77F: okay
Polar 748: Slight OS on titles
Africa MD11: okay
Gardua: okay
Korean: a little OS.. registration under the wing looks jagged to me. Bottom right of the sky is that smoke or cloud formation?
