Rejection?! Your opinion on that.

Today I got two images rejected but do not agree at all with the reasons. What do you guys think? I am actually considering an appeal.
Images were acquired with D7000 + Nikon 200-500 in good light conditions. And I don't see the issues mentioned on my screen.

The first one looks alright for me.
The second one does look a bit blurryish/soft. Exposure seems fine, as brightening it more will likely overexpose the image.

I think the first one is better than second one. Second on i agree with Kas.It seems to be a little soft.I think maybe is the soft lead to blurry .. You can try to sharpen it.
