St Maarten Nikon D5300 Settings?

Traveling to Maho beach next week and just purchased a new DSLR the Nikon D5300. The camera came with the 18-140mm lens, that's the only lense I have right now.

Could anyone tell me what the best settings are to capture pictures of the planes landing? I'm new too the camera stuff. Really appreciate it!

ISO100, Center Weighted Average, Av, F8, and some minor EV correction will work fine on this sunny island

When you have your camera set to Manual (M) mode, the camera meter will give you a reading of the scene you are photographing.
