Digital Cameras
I was wondering if anyone has used a digital camers for taking pictures. I have a Sony camera, so I just save to the disk. Then I just have to upload the pictures, right?

Well...to get the best image possible, you MUST shoot in the camera's highest resolution setting. A 640x480 image straight from a digital camera will not get uploaded here - guaranteed. So that means (and I'm guessing here since I don't know the exact model of your Sony) that you could probably only get one image per disk. So...make sure you bring lot's of extra disks with you on a photo shoot!!! This is what discouraged me from buying a Sony camera...
Also, a good photo editing package (like Photoshop or Photo Paint) is a must for minor tweaks.
And to answer your first question: yes...there are lots of digital photographers here on Airliners.net (myself included). The digital camera is really an amazing tool...check out some samples of the new Nikon Coolpix 990 if you get a chance. For $899 US, it can't be beat.
