Hi

I don't take slide film but I would say:
1. Slide
2. Print.
3. No way digital!!

I'll stick to print and scanner.

Definately real film. With digital (except for the extremely expensive ones), you can't get very good resolution, you can't use different lenses, and you can't really control many of the aspects of the photos.

Most pros use slide film (specifically Kodachrome K64 or sometimes K25), because it has a proven track record and thus is what collectors want. Thus a slide on Kodachrome may be more valuable than a film on some other type of film.

I shoot prints, but then I don't consider myself a pro, either...

If your interested in digital cameras, you might want to check an article Andy Inhatko recently wrote for MacCentral about them, he seems to like them: http://www.maccentral.com/news/9911/16.ihnatko.shtml.
