IAH Rankin and Lee Roads

Hello,
First off, I have searched the boards for this information. However, the posts I have found are very old and locked so I cannot post follow up under those threads. Anyhow, I will be visiting Houston in the coming days. I have found various online sources. Some say Rankin Road is closed, some say it's open (just do not be a dumb a$$, and let IAH security know who you are and what you are doing). Other sources say Lee road is closed, and like Rankin, some say it is open. Does anyone have any current first-hand knowledge as to the status of both Rankin and Lee? Also, what about the parking garages? Lastly, any other good sites besides the various parking garages, Rankin and Lee? I am looking to capture some 777s, 747, and EK 211 (the A380).
