As far as I know, you can indeed make a separate account for your collection. The name would be something like "Nascarone Collection". Of course you can substitute the "Nascarone name with any other name".
JKPhotos wrote:I actually asked myself something similar.
I have quite some slides from the 90's that I bought back then on conventions, and of course I have mostly no clue whom I bought these from or who the actual photographer is / was . In the end "publishing" shots somewhere wasn't an issue back then, so of course they were just sold or even exchanged like this without saying "for private use only" or whatever.
And due to the first problem I can neither ask nor credit any photographer.
I wondered a couple of times if I'd still be allowed to publish them for example on a.net?
I would guess that this is like something an grey area.
In the end I don't need to upload them, I can keep them to myself and be happy..I am just curious and maybe a few others are asking themselves the same question?
airkas1 wrote:In your case, I'd go with the name "Noob Inc. Collection"
But in all seriousness, we have several collections on the site who are in the same boat, so it should be no problem. But we do ask that you create a separate account for collection photos, so it's clear they come from a collection. So please go ahead and upload if you like.

I have since added my full name also a couple of questions.
Are older photos considered hot? Because I added a slide last night and it was accepted this morning. Never checked the priority screening box only added a comment to screener.
Also not all the slides have the location on them is it ok to leave them unknown location?
Thanks
James

Hello James
Older photos are not considered as hot but they go to a different queue for any shots pre dating 2002 and are screened by specialist screeners for oldies so they don't take as long to screen as the regular queue. If you don't know the location it is ok to put unknown as the location.
