Hi guys,
apart from checking the instagram, is there any more efficient and scientific process to get the right exposure?
Thanks

I think you mean the histogram.

Ultimately, the "perfect" exposure is simply the exposure that you, as the photographer, are attempting to achieve. It's therefore, by definition, unscientific. The histogram can certainly help, as can guides like Sunny-16, or using a light meter, and changing the metering type on your camera.

For me, I just go by experience, and taking some test shots.

It's like predicting next weeks lottery numbers. ;)

What might be perfect for me might be under exposed for others and over exposed for another group.

I would generally look at histogram but use a bit of judgement of my own.

thanks yes I was refering to histogram :-)))
As perfect exposure I am sorry I was refering to post production phase, how to balance it on PS or LR.
    Thanks again!
