Fri Mar 09, 2018 1:44 am

What is this one? Not on FR24. Went by right after TSC649, in the same general direction (NE.) Saw from NE TX

Looks like it may be Virgin America colors, maybe out of DAL to LGA or DCA?

Initially I thought VA as well, but they don't have a red topped fuselage and the tail logo doesn't seem to match. It's also not Avianca, which was my second guess.

I would say Virgin, and what we are seeing as red fuselage top is just chromatic aberration.

In that case it should be ASA1312, LAX-MCO, N841VA. It passed right after TSC649, direction ESE.

I was, thinking air canada rouge, with the red engines. I tried the img tags, didn't seem to work. It was going more NE, like the Transat Puerto Vallarta to Toronto that had just gone through

Given the tail, I'd give it 99% that it's Virgin America. I think the dark area on top of the fuse is probably just an image artifact; maybe some sort of halo due to the bright fuselage.

Tail is 100% Virgin America, as are the engines.
