Colour Issue

Sat Jan 13, 2018 6:35 pm

Good Evening to all,

Sorry if this might be a repeated topic which might have been discussed here already.

I have uploaded a photo (see below) on Airliners.net and Jetphotos.net -- I uploaded the same exact file to both websites. During the uploading phase to Airliners.net I have enabled "Show EXIF Data" (not sure if this is related or not). After the screening process I noticed that the colours of my photo on the Airliners.net website is completely wrong! (too much purple and red)

Airliners.net Photo: https://www.airliners.net/user/photo-cor ... to/4783079

JetPhotos.net Photo: https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/8816222

I tried to reuploaded the photo to Airliners.net but the same thing happened. Can someone please guide me to fix the issue.

Thanks & Regards

Chris

Chris,

Make sure that you are saving your photo in the sRGB color space. All sort of weird color manipulations happen when saving a shot in Adobe RGB and uploading it.

Hope it helps!

Hi Chris,

Please check whether you used sRGB when you save photos as RGB will make the colour very strange if you upload to websites (Most of wbsites). RGB will make the saturation much lower than normal. But it's easy to fix.
After all editing process of your photos in PS,
----- Edit ---> Convert to Profile ---> "Destination Space" Options ---> Find "sRGB " (In my version is shown "sRGB IEC61966-2.1",should be similar). ----> Then save it as normal process ----> At the bottom of the saving window you will see "Color" box and make sure it shows sRGB.
After all of it then you can upload it.
For this situation you had already encountered, you can just convert the profile directly in PS and then use the "RE-UPLOAD" function to repalce this one. Hope it helps.

Cheers,
Harry
