Impossible to add a comment in my photos

A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine told me that it was impossible for him to comment on one of my photos because when he opened the photo there was no option to add a comment.
Immediately I could verify it and the worst is that all my previous comments had disappeared (since 2005).
I wrote a message to "contact us" narrating the problem but no one has answered me yet.
What am I doing wrong? Can it be a configuration/setting problem?

Hola,

there was always a setting where one could allow or disallow comments. Obviously your setting is currently to dissallow them.

So far, so good.... I just open my account and couldn't find that box anymore.

So perhaps someone from the crew can help out.

Hi Javier,

I just looked at your most recently accepted photo and don't see the comment field either. That's weird. I will advise the developer of your problem.

Thanks to JKPhotos and Airkas1 for your answers. I also remember that in the old web there was the possibility of allowing or not allowing comments but in this new website I can not find it.
I'll listen to Airkas1 and wait for the developer's opinion.

Hi, looking at your profile in our admin tools you do have the setting to NOT allow photo comments. Unfortunately I can´t see an option to change it in our tools, or in settings. I`ll investigate further.
