Phone mounts to record flight?

Sat Sep 16, 2017 8:47 pm

Hi everyone!

Does anyone know a sutible phone holder/mount that I can attach to the window and record the flight?

All the mounts that I've seen and tested are slightly angled. I'm looking for one which is vertical to the window, without it being angled for the best shot.

The closest I've found is this: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ToZPHjq0eek/T ... ount+3.JPG
It's for the GoPro. I'm looking for something similar.

Any suggestions? I have a Samsung Note 3.

Do you want to film the outside or inside of the window? That blog spot link is broken so not sure what you're going for. Get something like the GorillaPod suction cup arm and a tripod to phone adapter. Can hold a lot of weight, but if you're attaching it to the window and are recording outside the window, then you'll probably end up getting the mount in shot. If you're shooting inside the cabin, it will work very well.
I've never used one a plane, but just set up mine on my bedroom window:
