Hi all,

As many users have said, I also prefer option number 2.

Jorge, thanks for your opinion, but it's not options like in choosing between them.
Please see my quote below:

- There is a thought of making a function with a button (this would be available to all photographers).
- Pressing the button would enable a photographer to have the EXIF shown for his/her photos, but only the photos that have been uploaded since the site relaunch (June 2016).
- Making such a function requires a significant amount of effort, so we are polling whether people would actually use this.
- This is what option 1 is.
- That's why we need user opinions about it, to determine whether it would be worth the effort.

It's highly likely that option 2 will be implemented for sure, as pretty much everyone (incl. developer) acknowledges the need for such a feature. Perhaps we should talk about feature 1 and feature 2, instead of option 1 and option 2.

So would you make use of feature 1 as well or is it of little use to you?

Most photographers who choose to display the EXIF information will choose to display the information for all of their photos.

Most photographers who choose not to display the EXIF information will choose not to display the information for all of their photos.

Some people talk about secrecy. The secrecy comes into play when talking about shooting location or the employee who gave them the access. Not the camera type or how long the shutter stayed open.

But since we are only talking about a single year of photos, and implementing option 1 is more time consuming than option 2, I'd choose option number 2. That would give that minority of photographers the ability to pick and choose the photos they want EXIF data displayed and those they don't.

Don't make it optional. It enhances the validity and transparency over the authenticity of the uploaded image.

Thought that was what the screener's were employed to determine?

Is the method by which you can set the exif to appear in the last half of the year when the new site is? I searched and did not find. Thank you.

Is not yet ready. We will update everyone here on this post or on this forum once it's released.

Cheers,
Miguel.
