Is there anyway to video spinning engines, without CGI, to seem true-to-life?

Fri Jun 23, 2017 5:25 pm

I've always wondered if that's possible. Whether at 24, 30, 60 fps, etc: It seems there's no way to video a spinning prop or fan to look as it would to the human eye.

Is there an easy way to do this, or would it inevitably require post-production techniques of some sort?
