Photo request with 2mb, for private collection

Mon May 01, 2017 2:57 am

Interesting photo comment here:

https://www.airliners.net/photo/Alaska-A ... ER/4335829

That seems very, very similar to the guy who used to ask us all the time for 2mb photos of Boeing 777, for private collection. Different name, different aircraft type but the same wording.

Maybe I'm being a bit too suspicious, but the request seemed very familiar. Just set a few alarm bells going.

Yeah, that is eerily similar to what Dan usually writes. And he always sends an E-mail. I would be very wary too in this case, although it is up to the photographer whether or not he responds to the request.

Well , I remembered that he always ask for 2Mb+ before , but recently he asks for 3Mb + ! And I found that he not only asks for 777 here but also other website like Jetphoto.com and Planespotters.net.

Ok, that's my photo. All comments from Chinese photographers, actually, that was a joke between friends. We use Chinese Pinyin and English write the comments, and only Chinese understanding what we said. As you said, both of us know the "famous Dan" who request 777 photos. I think we just make a friendly joke.
