Canon 80D vs 70D

Fri Feb 10, 2017 1:01 am

I'm looking into buying a new camera and I'm between the 70D and 80D, is there a big difference or will the 70D work fine? Because if it is then I will buy that to save some money.

There you go, side by side comparison. I'm sure the 70D is more than enough. I still shoot with the 40D :old:

There's not a great deal between them but the two major differences are quite profound: the live view options and the anti-aliasing filter, which are far better on the 80D.

For those already with 70Ds, the upgrade probably isn't worth it, but if you're coming from something else.....

I'd get the 80D, unless you are constrained by budget.
