This guy (Richard Cooke) has been a semi-pro photographer for a long time, working mostly in Kodachrome film. His main work has been shooting fast jets including classic British Cold War planes. Some of his work is shown on this intro video

You have to agree he's done some incredible work. The air-to-air shots are stunning, including many photos he shot with the Red Arrows.
