Today we have signed a deal to buy UAL corp. We will merge our to airlines to become a new United Airlines. Caleb Cross will be our CEO and president. Glenn Tilton will become a member of the bored. Jim Whitehurst will be out COO and Ed Bastian will be our CFO.
We will keep out World headquaters in Atlanta. Our hubs will be in Atlanta, New York(JFK), San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Washington (IAD), Chicago and Maimi.

The United A319s, A320s will be replaced by Boeing 737s. The Boeing 757s will be re-engined with RR RB211-535E4B. The 747-400s will also be re-engined with RR RB211-524H and the Boeing 777-200 and 777-200ERs wil be re-engined with RR Trent 884s(772As) and 895s(772Bs).

We have ordered 35 A330-200HGW and 15 A380-800s. We have 50 options for the A330 type and 20 more options for the A380. The A330-200s will have Rolls-Rovce Trent 772 engines and the A380-800s with have Rolls-Royce Trent 927B engines. The 772s produce 71100 pounds of thrust and the 927Bs produce 83835 pounds of thrust.

lh.air.pacific has a slightly different livery than lh.air; lh.air.pacific is red on white, while lh.air is blue/green on white.

Also of course, please note that hl.air offers non-stop LAX-PER service on a 777-200LR.

lh.air.pacific leaves in the morning and lh.air leaves in the evening from LAX.

Also note that lh.air.pacific does compete on some routes with both DeltaL1011man's airline and Af773atmsp's International Airlines, so clearly flying from LAX has to the Pacific has never been so cheap.

m.air update:
m.air bought seven Saab 340Bs from IA and is expanding. Details to come, but expect increase traffic in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Canada soon.

Also as m.air group owns lh.air and lh.air.pacific it could at anytime increase long-haul service from MSP on either one of those two liveries.

Fast forward one year:

m.air group purchased Mesaba airlines and now runs all those flights, plus several new local routes already part of the m.air lineup.

With SY's hanger moved from it's current location, m.air now has a small terminal on the south west corner of MSP with 25 gates.

m.air is currently talking with international airlines about expanding service at MSP and services there, were are currently working on an agreement in which International Airlines travelers may connect from any m.air to any IA flight without any fees for flying on both airlines. We are also working on a deal so that IA's flighs can be connected to lh.air and lh.air pacific, but this agreement could take some time to iron out.

International Airlines will negotiate a deal with m.air about passengers being able to connect between the two airlines.

Some information about the International Airlines terminal:
Location-along 34th avenue at MSP and site of the NW hangars
Concourses-5 concourses (red, green, blue, purple, and orange)
Gates-100 gates (80 for wide-body and narrow body use, 20 for regional jets)
The terminal is connected to the Lindbergh and Humphrey terminals by a tram. If an agreement is made with m.air a new tram will be built from the IA terminal to the m.air terminal.

I find it quite agreeable to build a tram, since the new terminal for both IA an m.air is so close.

Do note that all lh.air flights use Humphrey terminal as the 25-gate m.air terminal only handles the high volume of former Mesaba 340 and the previous m.air 340 traffic.

Also, IAH-SYD and IAH-SIN are lh.air's flagship routes, with 8 planes leaving for SYD or SIN from IAH everyday and 8 planes coming back from SYD or SIN everyday to IAH.

In order for the International Airlines terminal (at MSP) to keep up with demand and the new flights the terminal will be expanded closer to the Humphrey Terminal separated by the Humphrey Terminal pick up/drop off roadway. A skyway will connect the terminals, but the tram will still run between the terminals for easier traveling. Construction will start in late October and be finished in late April.
