We are also working on a deal with Airbus for 35 A330s and 10 A380s.
I really appreciate you always having my back and I hope you are watching over me. Hopefully one day I can be half the mechanic you were brother. Rest in peace and smooth tailwinds JL. Oh and screw Jane Fonda!

Sweet. Looks like Emerites has some competition now. No AMS though? Only KLM covers that route.

The only think I really see missing is:

RE: Create Your Own Airline V6

A new airline from the people who brought you m.air.

lh.air or Long Haul Air, part of the m.air group

1)where is your HQ?
m.air group WHQ: MSP
lh.air HQ: IAH
lh.air International HQ: SYD
lh.air Europe HQ: LHR

2) LCC or Major or cargo?
Long Haul International Travel

3)were are your hubs?
SYD
IAH
SIN

4) where are your focus cities?
BKK
BNE
MEL

5)what types of A/C are in your fleet?
100+ Boeing 777s: 772LR, 772ER, 773ER -- I'm really too lazy to figure it out.
30 A340-600HGW for shorter routes in the 7400 nm to 7850 nm range
10 A340-300 for shorter routes under 7400 nm, these flights generally out of MSP and going toward Asia

6) what is on your A/C?(seat config,PTVs,AVOD,food)
Food served complimentary on all flights every 6 hours.
Generally three-class seating, though 4 A340s are two-class and another two are one-class.
Free WiFi on all Flights.

F-class "clubs" at:
SYD (2)
IAH (2)
SIN (2)
BKK
BNE
MEL
MSP
JFK
LHR

7) FF program?
same as m.air

Route Map:
Notes: All A343 routes are daily and nearly all the A346 routes are too. The Boeing routes may or may not be daily and some are 2x daily, especially Europe to Oceania and North America to Oceania.

Routes to Africa, except Jo'burg, are less frequent between 1x and 3x weekly. JNB is served daily or 5x weekly from most locations.

Every flight between SYD, IAH and SIN and another location is at least daily, with most 2x daily.

Also of course, please note that hl.air offers non-stop LAX-PER service on a 777-200LR.

lh.air.pacific leaves in the morning and lh.air leaves in the evening from LAX.

Also note that lh.air.pacific does compete on some routes with both DeltaL1011man's airline and Af773atmsp's International Airlines, so clearly flying from LAX has to the Pacific has never been so cheap.  Wink

lh.air and IA do cross paths on the LAX-PER route as well.

----

m.air update:
m.air bought seven Saab 340Bs from IA and is expanding. Details to come, but expect increase traffic in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Canada soon.

Also as m.air group owns lh.air and lh.air.pacific it could at anytime increase long-haul service from MSP on either one of those two liveries.

Fast forward one year:

m.air group purchased Mesaba airlines and now runs all those flights, plus several new local routes already part of the m.air lineup.

With SY's hanger moved from it's current location, m.air now has a small terminal on the south west corner of MSP with 25 gates.

m.air is currently talking with international airlines about expanding service at MSP and services there, were are currently working on an agreement in which International Airlines travelers may connect from any m.air to any IA flight without any fees for flying on both airlines. We are also working on a deal so that IA's flighs can be connected to lh.air and lh.air pacific, but this agreement could take some time to iron out.

Some information about the International Airlines terminal:

I find it quite agreeable to build a tram, since the new terminal for both IA an m.air is so close.

Do note that all lh.air flights use Humphrey terminal as the 25-gate m.air terminal only handles the high volume of former Mesaba 340 and the previous m.air 340 traffic.

-----

Also introduced today m.air.cargo, a single-plane airlines which runs an MD-11F on the following routes:

Route 1: MSP-ANC-ICN-HKG-KUL-NRT-ANC-LAX-MSP
Route 2: MSP-MIA-JFK-FRA-DXB-CDG-EWR-MSP

The plane uses the DHL/Express Cargo ramp across the street from the m.air HQ.

m.air.cargo has ordered one 747-400ERF to put put into service on the following routes:
MSP-LHR-ADD-JNB-ROB-MIA-MSP
MSP-LAX-HNL-NRT-SIN-HKG-PEK-ANC-MSP

As you can see, the lh.air operates mostly Boeing 777-200LRs, 777-300ERs (36) then Airbus A340-600s (30), with a smattering of 777-200ERs (5) and Airbus A340-300s (10).

Also, IAH-SYD and IAH-SIN are lh.air's flagship routes, with 8 planes leaving for SYD or SIN from IAH everyday and 8 planes coming back from SYD or SIN everyday to IAH.

If I get the time, I may do a ship count for the 777-200LR but for now, please go with the above, with the following annotations:
772ER: 36
772ER: 5

As above, any members of the lh.air could be used on the lh.air.pacific fleet or vice versa if the need arises.

Aircraft orders:
30x A330-200 (including the 10 orders already announced) deliveries will instead begin in late February

20x A340-600 deliveries beginning in early April

In order for the International Airlines terminal (at MSP) to keep up with demand and the new flights the terminal will be expanded closer to the Humphrey Terminal separated by the Humphrey Terminal pick up/drop off roadway. A skyway will connect the terminals, but the tram will still run between the terminals for easier traveling. Construction will start in late October and be finished in late April.
