Pacific Airlines a Low Cost Carrier based in Hawaii. Competition to Hawaiian Airlines.

A one stop Hawaian hub to bridge Asia/Australia with secondary north american cities. By using medium range high CASM aircraft the trip costs should be lower than direct flights offered by the competitions.

The airline will be closely linked through online booking with accommodation in Hawaii offering flexible 1 or 2 day stopovers in tropical Hawaii. Pumping extra tourists through Hawaii will allow kickbacks from accommodation providers to subsidize flight costs. Another advantage is that passengers won't have to transit through customs at the LAX bottleneck.

18x Bombardier CS300
24x Boeing MOM (Launch customer)

20% premium economy, 80% normal economy.

CS300 operates daily flights fron the Hawaii hub to smaller west coast cities in America. San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Sacremento, Vancouver. Twice daily flights to Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Boeing MOM will operate flights from the Hawaii hub to Asia, Australia and East coast of the USA. 10 x US mid/east cities. 3x Australian cities, 3x Japan, 2x China, 1x New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea.

Vevaire (combining the Guaraní "veve," to fly, and the Spanish "aire," air), is an Asunción, Paraguay-based LLC focusing on routes to major leisure destinations throughout the continent.

Vevaire would primarily use the 738/9 and Embraer aircraft (the latter of which for MVD/AEP/other regional cities).

Also, to encourage people to visit downtown Asunción, Vevaire would offer its passengers bus services throughout the morning/afternoon. Though most citizens in South America don't require a visa to visit Paraguay, a 72-hour TWOV would be offered to other travelers connecting with this airline.

FlyFiji has taken delivery of their first Airbus A380-800. It was greeted at NAN by the traditional water cannon salute.
It will take over the 777-300LR to New York. The 777-300LR will be transferred to the highly popular Miami flight, whereas the 777-200LR used on that route will be operating a new route to New York/LaGuardia.
FlyFiji has also converted their LOI for 24 different A350s into firm orders. The first A350-900, DQ-FFIJ, is set to be delivered in early May. We have decided to stop flying our Nadi-Hong Kong-Sapporo flight, it will be a codeshare of Japan Airlines instead. They will use their new 787-8 on this flight. Our 738 that currently operates this flight will operate a trial rotation to Auckland, New Zealand.
FlyFiji has reported an outstanding profit of over 120 million US dollars. In order to make travellers more comfortable on long transits, NapCabs are available for free for anyone who has a longer transit than 41/2 hours. Self-service electric carts are available in the FlyFiji NAN terminal for a one-hour rental for 8 US dollars.

FlyFiji's second A380 will be employed on the equally popular NAN-LGW flight. Like the 777 that operates this, the flight will stop in Singapore Changi for a refuel.

A FlyFiji Boeing 777-241LR has crashed into the Alps, about 90 kilometres from Zurich International Airport. The 777 had been descending into Zurich. The altimeter had bee faulty and showed that pilots were still at 20,000 feet. The pilots decided to descend more quickly. However, as the altimeter was faulty, instead of descending to 18,500 feet, the 777 impacted the Alps. 113 of the 236 people on board the aircraft had died. FlyFiji has offered 1500 US dollars as compensation. We are now holing a press conference at Nadi Hotel.

Here is a cockpit recording. There were three men in the cockpit: Andre Tarasov, the captain with 93,400 flt hours, James Smith, the mechanic, and Ewart Zenith, the co-pilot with just 24,000 flight hours on the 777.

-Andre: "Good morning Zurich, this is F41424 requesting descend to FL185."
-ATC: "Good morning F41424, cleared for descend to FL185."
-Andre: "Roger that, F41424 descending to FL185."
(5 minutes later)
-James: "We're not descending."
-Ewart: "Push harder."
-Andre: "We are still at FL200."
(20 minutes later)
-James: "I think we have a faulty altimeter."
-Andre: "We are still at FL200."
-Ewart: "Zurich tower, this is F41424. We seem to have a faulty altimeter. Please inform us of our altitude."
-James: "Captain, I think you should look at this."
(cockpit warnings) Pull up, terrain, Pull up, terrain.
-Andre: "MAYDAY, MAYDAY, We are about to hit-OH MY GOD!!"
